Obituary of Tedd Walter Olkowski
Tedd Walter Olkowski, born September 13, 1944, in Watsonville, California, failed on May 7, 2023.
He was attacked in death by his father, Thaddeus Olkowski, his mama, Irene Olkowski. and his two sisters, Stephen Olkowski and Lance Olkowski, all of Cocoa Beach, FL.
He attended Brevard Junior College, where he earned an Associate of trades degree. He completed his education by attending Florida Technological University, where he earned a Bachelorette of Science in Business Administration. He also took several courses at Duke University, NC.
Beforehand in his career, he was tortured during the preamble to Apollo 11’s launch. A skinny 24- time-old boy from Cocoa Beach, Florida, but 6 bases altitudinous, he jumped at the chance to join the deliverance platoon because he was formerly outside covering the cameras.
His job was to help Collins — in the doubtful event of launch — escape the Saturn V rocket, descend 32 stories in a high-speed elevator, and slide down a 200-bottom tube to a cellarage deep below the platform.
As a teenager, Tedd was a lifeguard on the sand in Cocoa Beach, Florida, when the first seven astronauts rode their corvettes along the sandTedd’s career was spent at General Telephone and Electronics Corporation, first in North Carolina and also to Georgia and eventually Texas.
He retired from GTE in 1997 as VP G
